The power of community spirit can never be underestimated, especially during these difficult times.
Manor Farm in Stretham is known for having community at its heart, and while residents would normally gather for their supper club, book club, mum’s groups, or walking and running clubs, this close-knit community has discovered new ways to keep in touch and ensure that everyone stays safe.
Here’s what one resident told us: “The community at Manor Farm is really strong with neighbours coming together to clap and dance on their doorsteps! It’s truly amazing. We have a Manor Farm WhatsApp group, which has been fab, with neighbours offering to pick up shopping, doorstop drop offs to share essential items and, as well as keeping us connected to raise community spirits, it’s also been used to facilitate donations for those in need.”
Laragh Homes has seen a huge demand for its landmark development at Manor Farm, and it goes beyond building high-quality homes. Emphasis has always been on creating a community hub, with concepts to deliver green open spaces and cohesive designs that help residents connect with a real sense of community.
