Cambridge developer moves to a new home

Cambridge-based property developer Laragh, which this year celebrates ten years in business, has recently moved to new offices in Over. The company is now based at Sycamore Studios, a converted stable block with plenty of room for future expansion.
Previously based in Godmanchester, the relocation comes in response to a need for additional space to accommodate the growing team, and is closer to the city centre where many of Laragh’s professional partners are based.
Established in 2007, when managing director Simon Somerville-Large spotted an opportunity in the local market for more bespoke housing, Laragh is currently working on the continuation of a 75-home development at Manor Farm, Stretham, a project at Water Lane in Chesterton as well as the next phase of The Pastures, Harston. Further developments at Swavesey, Haddenham and Foxton and more are also in the pipeline.
Mr Somerville-Large said “2017 has been a really strong year for Laragh; celebrating ten years in business, completing Phase 1 of both Manor Farm and The Pastures and now moving to new premises to accommodate our growing team and bring us closer to our partners and clients. Whilst our business is all about building new high-quality homes for people across Cambridgeshire, it’s great to find ourselves a new home too and we are all excited about the next stage in Laragh’s own development.”
The company certainly has plenty to look forward to in the months ahead including several awards ceremonies for which projects at Manor Farm and Church View, Foxton have been shortlisted as well as a further one hundred new homes on the drawing board.
